Winter Walks on Telfer Almen pastures

Starting at Obertelfes in the Ridnaun Valley, follow the forestry road in the direction of the Rosskopf. Turn right after approx 45 minutes and take another forestry road which is likewise kept clear (signposted Freund Alm) and leads uphill in an easy climb for a good half hour. The road takes you to a point where several forestry roads intersect. From there continue uphill along the steep trail signposted Freund Alm for approx 20 minutes to the hut.
